AZ Imports


Imported organic medicinal products from Mexico. The products are extracted from the Azahar flower. The products don't contain any chemical components other than the Azahar extracts. This makes these types of products very appealing for organic and health-conciouse people. These products help people that suffer from abdominal pains, menstrual pains, anxiety, upset stomach, headaches, insomnia, among others. It is product is particularly good because it is a natural remedy to multiple problems.

Who is your customer?

The market that we decided to approach are the lower social classes of the United States since there is a market need to have alternative medicines at lower prices that can be affordable. In bringing this product to the U.S. it establishes a niche market product because azahar is a natural product so it could be considered as “eco friendly” allowing us to expand our consumer base to customers that prefer products that don’t cause any type of harm to the environment.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

There is a need in that we are surrounded by thousands of pharmaceutical medications most of which are not organic and produce a lot of side effects on the patient, not to mention most are not affordable to mid-lower income social classes.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

The United States has a wide range of medicines, also, it has an even wider range of alternative medicines that customers can buy to alleviate symptoms that may bother them, meaning one medication to alleviate a specific symptom which in taking multiple may cause irreversible effects on the body. However, we are providing a natural medicine at a lower price. We are combining a competitive advantage of “differentiation” and “low prices”, which are the main qualifications that customers look for when they decide a new product which is our main feature for success.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

The necessary barrier AZ will have to go through is obtaining FDA approved licenses because azahar, though organic, is also considered medicinal so obtaining the license which is essential in the process of importation. The company projects a starting fund of $6,000 to obtain necessary supplies, products, and means of distribution to launch AZ Imports. The owners of AZ Imports will hold 50% of the company’s stock with the rest open to potential investors.
