Abstract

GymU is designed to be an all-around lifestyle transformation center. This isn't your normal gym, GymU uses scientific research to deliver the best training options and uses a wide verity of techniques to bridge the gap between the mind and the body.

Who is your customer?

According to the CDC, almost 70% of Americans over the age of 20 are overweight, including 35% that are considered obese. Conversely, awareness and education about the importance of a healthy lifestyle continues to increase. With that better understanding is the certain knowledge that exercise improves energy levels, decreases medical expenses and likely increases longevity. Even consumers that have shied away from the traditional gyms are getting back into it, using non-traditional methods, which is exactly what GymU is offering. Market demand is strong.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

So many gyms focus on the body an approach that forgets the most important muscle of them all, the brain. They train you, they tell you want excises need to be done to lose weight, what needs to be done to gain muscle, on the other hand, you have facilities offer classes to help you read faster, study materials or any number of mind enhancement tricks. It's one or the other.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

GymU creates an ideal environment to learn and grow. With proper guidance, proper motivation and inspiration members are able to strengthen their bodies, their minds, their creativity and much much more. All with science back techniques and passionate instructors the potential is limitless.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

GymU will follow three different models the first being a high-end fitness and mindfulness center. The second being a low-cost after-school program. The third as a high-value membership program (which doesn't have all the bells and whistles as the first model, but will still change people's lives for a very reasonable price.)
