The Snow Melter

Abstract

First off, we are going to design a truck, which will have two tanks (tank A and tank B,) Each tank has a capacity of 20k gallons. “Tank A” will store the snow that has been Absorbed from the road, then using the needed heat to melt the snow to pure water, “tank B” will receive the water. Once the “tank B” is full, the indicator in the tank will alarm The driver to stop plowing more snow. After that, another truck will come and continue From where the first tuck left off.

Additional Questions

Who is your customer?

"municipality of the city" and "snow removal service companies."

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

We believe that snow plow is not the right solution for heavy snow weather, because the regular snow plow will probably cause other problems while doing its job. Such as, blocking the street's sidewalk, blocking (covering) cars which parked on both sides of the road, and so on. So instead, our designed truck is actually removed and take off all the snow from the road without leaving any mess behind it.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

We will be ending up dealing with the collected water. "wastewater treatment" is the best place to go to dump the collected water. We choose them because that is their field, recycling water. By doing that, we can insure that we have done what we all must do, saving the natural resources.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

There is an actual snow removal (or snow plow,) but we believe it does not do what should Be done. So, to analyze it better, we have divided our idea into two segments, “Engineering” and “Business.” We are an Engineering and Business students, and we harness our efforts to serve the success of our idea. We are passionate about our idea because, we believe that it is something that will help the community.
