Connecting Plants and People

Abstract

Plantmatch.co is a social venture to bring more plants into more people’s lives. With a visual recognition mobile application, plant lovers can easily learn what a plant is and then where to adopt, swap or buy it locally. A companion smart stick will monitor the plant’s moisture level and provide care tips and other data. Theme-based plant subscriptions will fill up our workplaces, schools and homes with more green, while a location-based “Clean Air Challenge” will drive both productivity and better indoor air.
