Boutiques, touristics places as hotels, restaurants, fashions market,etc.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

The main problem we face is the lack of quality raw material, because that is what determines the quality of the hat, but many traditional hat weavers buy most of the raw material and for this reason the fine hat weavers can not advance with production. This limits what we can offer in the market. Since the 90s the Nicaraguan market has been affected by the invasion of Chinese products that mimic many handicrafts and sell them at much lower price. This situation has discouraged artisans who spend 20 or 30 days to weave a fine hat, so its price is often not paid fairly or take a long long time to sell them.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

NicaHat is unique in Nicaragua and has a catalog of styles to suit the demands of a market that looks quality and allowing us to find markets that pay a fair price. NicaHat could be a special souvenirs for tourist whos love to wear orignal pieces. This activity can help to improve the economic activity in my community. If we export them, it will affect positive the trade balance of our country.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

This is an excellent business opportunity for many investors in the world of fashion, where demand is constant, dynamic and with satisfactory financial results. We just need to make contacts and know how to do a good trade with them.
