Techno Robotics Gear

Abstract

Farming began in the Fertile Crescent which is located in Israel and stretches North to Southeast Turkey and reaches parts of the Persian Gulf. Humans used to get their food by hunting animals and collecting plants. Around 8,500 BC they began growing wheat, barley, peas and lentils instead of picking them in the wild. In 7,000 BC humans started training sheep, pigs, and goats and later in 6,000 BC they also trained cattle. As time passed, humans developed more advanced techniques which allowed them to use oxen to pull plows and wagons, and domesticate donkey's and horses. (http://www.localhistories.org/farming.html).

Skipping forward to the 20th Century, major farming developments were made. The first gasoline-powered tractor was invented in 1901 and in 1923 a tractor was created that was able to replace draft animals. As time developed self-propelled mechanical harvesters, planters, and other equipment had been developed that would advance farming. Such inventions allowed farmers to complete their work a lot faster and on a larger scale than ever before.

Today, self-driving tractors, guided by GPS works the fields. They collect data as well and transmit it wireless to farm-based offices. Our company Techno Robotics Gear will take farming to the next level. We will market robots that are designed with particular parts and functions to help carry out duties that humans are currently required to do. Our purpose of Techno Robotics Gear is to show how Robotics and Automation can help farmers with improving planting and harvesting techniques, and find a better and least expensive way to harvest their crops.

Who is your customer?

In the future Techno Robotics Gear will be a nationwide resource for smaller businesses in the area of producing crops to local farming markets.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

The new technology requires a new type of technician, able to understand the complex interface between the digital and mechanical. Robotics will bridge that gap and allow farmers to produce and harvest crops at a higher quantity and more efficiently than before. The purpose of Techno Robotics Gear is to show how Robotics and Automation can help farmers with improving planting and harvesting techniques.We will also eliminate most of the manual labor, help to increase product production, and cut the cost that the farmer will incur annually.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

In the last 155 years or more farmers have done things the old-fashioned way. Farmers have used horse drawn plow which slowly gave way to tractors and combines. Farmers have always been an early adapter of new technology but not much has changed for the small farms in several years to compete in the current market. People live at such a fast pace, they want everything now and farmers can not keep up with the demand. With building robots, this will help with keeping up with supply and demand. We believe are new technology will assist farmers by using our Techno Robotics Gear. We will design robots that will be able to plant and harvest crops, which will prevent farmers from having to use heavy driven equipment. It will also eliminate pollution in the air, and will prevent the farmer from spending money on gas, oil and the upkeep of the heavy duty machines.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

Techno Robotics Gear has defined several objectives for the team to strive to accomplish: *Inform and excite the public about Techno Robotics Gear via our commercial. *Mentor and Support new and existing Robotic Designs using the 3D CAD Software Program called SolidEDGE. *Spearhead robotics clubs, classes, and workshops for small business in the farming area especially areas that are economically disadvantaged. *Connect with engineering professionals, local community leaders. Our team has currently built a rapport with Marketing Innovators in the area of Technology. We have made contact with a programmer to assist us with programming our robots. We have contacted local engineers to assist with the designs of our robots. Our dynamic team is ready to accept the challenge of creating and maintaining an exciting business market.
