Abstract
Ecodome Maroc is an entreprise that designs and builds houses and eco-tourstic infrastructures in shape of domes using local rammed earth in order to provide a maximum comfort with an ecological touch.

Who is your customer?
Our main clientele is divided into three niches:
- Individual owners of secondary farms
- Investors in eco-tourism
- Foreigners willing to settle in Morocco
What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?
While exploring deep villages in atlas Moroccan mountains, we notice two major disparities:
- An incredible natural potential that attracts tourists from all over the world
- An incredible lack of infrastructure that adapts to those landscape and a total absence of work opportunities among villages’ youth
As civil engineers and thrilled travelers, we decided to come up with a solution that, at the same time, adds value to beautiful landscapes, receives tourists and creates economical dynamics for villagers; that is Ecodome
What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?
Building using ecodome method presents many competitive advantages; such as:
- Reducing the price of construction up to 40% compared to concrete buildings
- Reducing the time of construction to half
- Having a large flexibility in architectural designs
- Reducing energy consumption regarding heating and air-conditioning since the earthen construction adapts naturally to weather conditions
- Living in a building that breathes and integrates in its natural landscape
Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?
We are a team of 25 members:
- 3 members in technical studies and management:
• Youness Ouazri: CEO & founder of Ecodome Maroc; a civil engineer from Ecole Hassania des Travaux Publics and a former structural engineer with TechEtude studying office in Rabat;
• Youssef Boudad: CTO, a civil engineer from BTS Salé & a former structural engineer with TechEtude studying office in Rabat;
• Hicham Habbaz: Designer and 3D modeling responsible;
- 22 workers divided into 3 teams
We are a multidisciplinary team who has the capacity of covering tasks from technical studies to building ecodomes on sites. Add to that, the passion that we have for what we do can be noticed trough details and quality of our previous references;
