Sympl. App

Abstract

Sympl. is the fastest and most efficient method for students to compare class schedules with each other. By providing students with a platform for them to easily see who is in their classes, we believe that we will encourage students to actually want to study. We are currently working with a doctor that has their PhD in education, to come up with an enrichment program to be taught in both high schools and colleges that correlates with the idea behind the app.

Additional Questions

Who is your customer?

We serve the higher education market, and currently there are 20 million students currently enrolled in a higher education institution.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Our product is innovative because our focus is a lot different from other Edtech platforms. Our app gives the students full autonomy, and provides resources that are overlooked by many platforms out there. Other sites provide practice quizzes and other supplemental study material, but overlook the easiest and most important resource to a student and that is their peers sitting in the same class as them.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

We have learned that taking a top down approach is an easy wasy to get our customers. By putting the product in front of administration and professors at universities, we have been able to get free marketing to students within the classrooms as well as the faculty serving as ambassadors for our business by talking up our product to their students. We will succeed because we have chemistry like no other and all want to obtain the same common goal with the business. Also, we are a part of our target market so it is easier for us to engage and relate with our consumers, and serve as a voice for them.
