Perpetua Partners LLC

Abstract

Perpetua Partners is the first purpose built VC fund to target Hispanic tech startups, or more specifically Hispanic founders. We seek to solve the largest challenge to Hispanic tech startups - lack of access to capital, lack of credible networks and ability to scale and successfully exit in the US. Further, we direct $100MM in two strategic plans:

1. Direct Investment - early stage companies that are post MVP but pre Series A. This group represents the largest "need" and greatest "promise" of high growth and maximum ROI

2. Accelerators - ideation stage entrepreneurs with the skills or academic capabilities to create something special, but without the necessary "education" in business, product build and scale, team building and "how to" traits needed for business success. We are launching 4 accelerators; Silicon Valley, San Antonio, Miami, New England, to create a national platform for ideation, innovation and startup pipeline.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

There is no Venture Capital fund exclusively formed to invest in Hispanic Tech Entrepreneurs, which represent the fastest growing SMB's, WSMB's in the USA. But enabling capital, knowledge, Network and Partners, we create a sustainable eco-system built for the Hispanic entrepreneur, who has been shunned and marginalized by Silicon Valley VC community.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

By creating a sustainable national eco-system from ideation (Accelerator) to Early Stage (VC) built whit community partners and funded with $100MM, we are confident that we can exceed the past 40 years of the "traditional" Silicon Valley ROI in less than 20yrs. Furthermore, the Hispanic sector is already leading in digital behavior, spending, growth and is the fastest growing consumer demographic AND business demographic

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

We have spent that past 2 yrs exclusively researching, creating, assessing and building the models to successfully invest in Hispanic Tech Startups. More importantly, we possess the critical "pillars" for success in this space: 1. serial tech entrepreneur with 10 startups launch, and greater than 50% success rate in 5 countries/3 continents, but primarily in the US Hispanic, Mexico, Latin America. 2. PE, Investment-Merchant Banking experience specifically in Telecom/Media/Tech with a total of $20Billion+ raised and/or invested for clients. This experience includes the top Hispanic startups in first .com wave including but not limited to Patagon.com and Starmedia.com. 3. 11yrs as Investment Director and very first VC in Mexico, hired as person to create Intel Capital in Mexico and Latin America. Led over 36 investments, created curriculum for VC investing in Mexico, now taught by the most prestigious university in Mexico, and advised a President on same
