Who is your customer?

Our customers include Nigerians interested in grains and food security, agricultural firms, investment bodies, Nigerians and individuals in the diaspora interested in grains investment.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

There is growing interest in agricultural investment in Nigeria but there is a lack of opportunities for investing safely without carrying out the complicated activities in grains value chain. We are trying to promote investments in grains value chain by using a secure and well maintained digital platform.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

We are using secure payment gateways. Our investments are going to be insured against loss. We have a team of market intelligence experts to inform profitable investment options. We are initiating long term strategic partnership with stakeholders like grain storage and processing firms, grain farmer associations and relevant government organizations.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

We are the first digital platform to manage grain investments. We will rely on first hand market intelligence data on the best performing grains for a start. We will drive investments by publishing informative articles on the selected grains and promote the idea via social media and various ag-tech platforms. We are a team of IT and agricultural experts with experience in managing digital platforms and grain industry. We are also limiting our concentration to popular and locally-consumed grains. We already have existing partnerships to execute and scale the idea.
