Abstract

A TV/Mobile Online Talkshow created on the anatomy of the rose. The rose is the most popular and most valuable flower in the world. It is used to express different types of human emotion. The colours of the rose all have different meanings. Every part of a rose mirrors different aspects of human beings who are all different in character. The rose is significantly appreciated by women. The concept of the talkshow is to feature women at different stages of the rose:

- Budding roses(Millennials 18-35): Like a rose when its budding into an unknown rose garden: millennials are unassuming and fearless. They burst out onto a global platform and create their own jobs following their passion

- Blossoming roses(Women 36-49) When a rose is blossoming, it usually has buds around it like self assured confident women who have taken risks and bold steps to define their own paths and they fulfill their purpose by mentoring/coaching other budding roses

- Flourishing roses(50+) Like a rose bush that has bloomed season after season with several roses, a woman in her 50s is refined and has established a legacy that will outlive her and will constantly have several budding and blossoming generations long after her

Brief profiles of inspirational African women entrepreneurs as a start are showcased on the show and give them an opportunity to market their entrepreneurial journeys. The Talkshow platform is intended to be a visual and audio tool for change to have a social and economic impact that empowers women in the process.
