Abstract

Tiago makes the legal profession better. We empower lawyers with a simple and cost-efficient way of locating, contracting and evaluating the service providers that they need. With the largest community of independent service providers in Puerto Rico, we are disrupting the way lawyers get their work done. When lawyers get the right resources on their side, they provide the best representation possible.

Who is your customer?

My customers are any legal professional that contracts different service providers in a web-based platform.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Tiago is an interactive online service that makes it easier for attorneys to find the needed services that they need to address their legal duties. We provide the lawyer with vetted service professionals for particular needs. With dozens of services provides in the platform, a lawyer can now hire a courier, service processor, court reporters, and even experts, on-demand!

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Tiago is already operational in Puerto Rico. After a few months, we have dozens of attorneys using our services. We have also attracted over a dozen service providers and have completed over 350 orders for the attorneys.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

As a lawyer, I am intimately aware of the challenges that we face in identifying reliable resources to assist me. I have been lucky enough to have worked in Puerto Rico, Virginia, and in various international cases before human rights bodies, allowing me to create a large network in the legal profession. Tiago has also partnered with a Puerto Rico software team to improve our product.
