Who is your customer?

Children at ages 7-16. Our focus is to offer the next generation the opportunity to learn coding at early age through mentorship based programs and fun activities based on modern education. At this phase we are working with local children in Israel, after implementing the concept for 2 years we are planning to expand to other countries.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

The education system in Israel doesn't offer the kids of tomorrow the right skills and tools so they can deal with the future and it's tech developments. We believe that our educational system lacks and doesn't invest properly in the next generation; our world is becoming more developed but our educational system still works the same way it used to be 20 years ago; which is very bad thing if we want ot build a better world and a better future.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Loop has already reached more than 1500 school children at ages 11-14; offering them to learn coding through games and fun activities. Our mentors, who are part of the Loop strongly believe that their work is a great investment for the community. Loop's Founder and CEO was selected among hundreds of young entrepreneurs to talk about Loop in front of 1300 attendees. This unique social initiative offers the whole community to become part of the Loop; children, mentors, parents, schools and investors/angels. For more details please visit: http://www.loop.org.il/blog-1 Moreover, Loop provides students in university with scholarships to mentor younger students in the basics of coding apps and websites. When the younger students reach university, they become the mentors, thus completing the loop.
