Disrupting Immigration through AI

Abstract

We are Canada’s one of the first AI-powered chatbot for immigrants. Right now around 45 million people from all around the world claimed that they are interested moving to Canada. Every year at least 250 thousand people move to Canada. And they experience various issues while applying for their visas. We would like to eliminate this pain and serve people from all around the world so that they can apply to their visas smoothly, in time and without any stress. Regarding the revenue model – it has 4 ties,

1 - free access to chatbot to get information about immigration/detect eligibility

2 - one-time payment to prepare the documents by using our chat-bot as a self-service,

3 – referral fee for connecting lawyers with immigrants,

4 – providing in-house lawyer support for special and complicated cases of the clients.

Who is your customer?

Our Customers – anybody who would like to come to Canada as a student, skilled workers, startup/investment visas, family class, refugees or people who need to move because of humanitarian reasons. We will not put any limitations. In the beginning, we are aiming to connect with people who can afford to pay minimum costs of immigration and can self-sustain themselves in Canada after they arrive. This is to make sure that we do not help people who provide fake documents or have damaging thoughts.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Problem: - People search so many hours online to find the single answer to their immigration-related question. - At the same time, for them to find the trustful lawyer which suits their background is very tough. - On the other hand, lawyers also take a lot of time to pre-screen the people who are seriously thinking about moving to Canada, they are concerned whether the client can pay them or overall whether they are eligible to come to Canada. SOLUTION: We would like to remove all these concerns from our clients and lawyers. We offer free self-assessment for people to check whether they are eligible to come to Canada. At the same time, they can ask any question to bot, it will give them answer for free. When they decide to use our service for immigration or would like to connect with a lawyer, we will charge them. Overall, our service will be very convenient, trustful and affordable. We truly care about our clients and want to give them the best possible service they could get.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

1. Awesome Product Quality - Messenger Based Chatbot + Our internal dashboard to make sure that our clients can interact with lawyers smoothly we are already working on the product and we do have a strong team including CTO, Designer & Immigration Lawyer Advisor 2. Execution - as a founder I do have Operations/Digital Media/Marketing/Sales background. It makes our life easy because I can manage the startup in a daily basis efficiently making sure that we execute what has been promised and also focus on serving our clients and prepare the product which is client oriented. 3. Cool Idea - first we would like to help people move to Canada, later on, we will implement the same model in different countries. It will make us truly a global startup supporting people to move from one place to another easily without any hustle.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

= Our Startup is born out of the Founders Institute in Toronto and we already validated market/product fit, did our market research and we do have the strong network in Canada. = Recently we got accepted to the Legal Innovation Zone here in Toronto, they support us from the legal perspective = We do have full team of immigrants who understand the customer pain every single day as we went/still going through the same issue = We are super passionate and dedicated to this idea on a full-time basis = We constantly test our projects with our potential clients and get their feedback about what we need to change.
