PR for startups (REDHILL Asia)


REDHILL was founded to help provide PR and communication services to startups in the region (Southeast Asia and beyond). Startup scenes in these ASEAN countries need a lot of support in terms of creating narratives and stories around their brand. Besides the private sector, REDHILL also provides communication strategy support to CSOs and government agencies that understand how to connect with people/consumers better. Earlier this year, REDHILL understood the demand and launched REDHILL101, a special initiative to engage more tech and non-tech startups in the region.

Startups in Southeast Asia, private companies, government agencies and civil society that need support with communication solutions

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Many companies and startups focus so much on products that they do not have the capacity to step back and look to increase their exposure (either their company's name or products). REDHILL aims to provide services to help the markets serve the public better (PR and communication strategy services).

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Southeast Asia is becoming home to many great start-ups and entrepreneurial region. Our company, which has strong roots in Southeast Asia and Asia, is expanding to provide all these services to more clients that need our skills and expertise.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

What gives my team and I an advantage over others is our strong presence in Southeast Asia. When we talk about PR agencies, we only mention those from Europe, Australia or the US, but our agency is trying to build out of Southeast Asia and bring it to the world outside.
