Concretely, Thanks! connects individuals in need with others willing to help them. What is more, it rewards cooperation through a point and coupon system.

Thanks! was born as a response to the main hurdles faced by people who wish to make a positive and direct change in their communities: the lack of opportunities and the difficult coordination of times and schedules. Thanks! connects people in need with those willing to help them. That is, it provides opportunities so that those who want to help can do so in convenient times and spaces.

Who is your customer?

Our initial costumers are high school and especially college students who are interested in cooperation. One advantageous characteristic of our initial costumers is that most of them are required to complete a certain number of social service hours in order to graduate. Most of the students are assigned to their activities by the school. However with Thanks!, students will be able to work in wherever institution they want, at the time that they find most convenient. What is more, given that their performance is monitored, users will be able to use Thanks! as curricular validation for their efforts.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Thanks! finishes with the main problems faced by people wishing to positively influence their communities such as security issues, the lack of opportunities and the difficult coordination of times and schedules. In addition, Thanks! makes cooperation even more fun through a point and coupon system that can earn users discounts at multiple venues.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Without any doubts the fact that students will be practically forced to use our app is our main advantage. Schools want Thanks! because they can better track students' social service activities and acquire information on them, and students want it because it simply makes their lives easier. Every student prefers to work in something that she likes or is good at. More so, every student wants to do it at convenient times and be rewarded for it. Finally, businesses also want Thanks! because it is a cheap, riskless marketing tool.
