Life: 1 Quarter at a Time is a company that helps people master their schedules and accomplish the things that matter most to them. They are able to accomplish this by creating custom planners tailored to help aid clients in bridging the gap between their current reality and their ideal schedule. Beyond the physical product of a planner, the company offers training and coaching to help their clients understand pitfalls in their current schedule, dream big on what ‘could be’ for their ideal week, and create a plan of action to put their new skills to work.

Who is your customer?

Our ideal customer is a millennial woman who is looking to master her schedule and develop a custom time management solution. Through our training we develop her knowledge to apply to her own scheduling challenges.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

The critical problem we are addressing is many people purchase planners and products without the skillset of learning a daily practice that will set them up for success. Furthmore, the products on the market are missing a level of customization that allows for the customer to feel that this product is designed to solve their unique needs and problems.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Our solution provides the one-stop-shop for both purchasing a planner and learning best practices for learning time management. By accessing an e-learning course, customers will be able to receive training on best practices. From there, they will have a space to design a planner based on their needs and that will put their knowledge to action. Our long-term plan is to grow a sense of community around the materials and shared experiences of mastering one’s schedule.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

We plan to scale the business into an online community that allows for customers to not only learn the best practice for time management but also design custom planners for their unique needs. What makes us unique is that we provide both the custom planner and the knowledge to apply in using the custom planner to a customer's greatest advantage.
