Who is your customer?

- Students (14- 25 years old) - Graduates (21-50 years old) - University Registration Offices

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

1- 70% under the age of 30 of the population of the MENA region and 28% is aged between 15 and 29. 2- Approximately 5% of GDP in MENA is have been spent on education but the quality of Education still Low. 3- Civil war force youth to go to new countries without previous information there are a lot of refugees from Iraq 800,000 at 2003 Lebanon 390,000 at 2006 Syria 4,000,000 * Statistics According to the World Bank’s World Development Report Problems key points: There are a Lack of information for available opportunities and scholarships Students are wasting a lot of time to find out which major and where they should study They don’t have money to spend on studying abroad.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Every Student nowadays need to get an opportunity to travel and study abroad to enhance their experience but they are looking for help and for simple and informative sources of available opportunities and scholarships to be able to fully understand the opportunity and that is what marj3 do. Also, providing consultancy and follow up with scholarship applicants is a very trendy need nowadays.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

Sami Al-Ahmed (Co-Founder): Syrian Entrepreneur studying dentistry in Egypt. He is a web developer since 2009 and he started his own web hosting company in 2010. In 2012 he was the Head of IT Department at National Union of Syrian Students (Syria). In 2013 he Founded Khatwa (NGO helping Syrian students to study in Egypt) then he won the third prize in Jussor First Entrepreneurship competition 2014 – 2015. Finally, he is HEAD OF MEDIA, COMMUNICATION AND MARKETING in North Africa International Model United Nation. All these qualifications enabled him to be responsible about website and deals with universities about registrations. Ahmed ELGebaly (Co-Founder): Business Administration Student has Experience in the Civil Society, NGOs and Student Activities since 2012. He is an Entrepreneurship Trainer for School Students at Injaz Egypt. Ahmed is the Founder of Abasthalak initiative that helps Students and Graduates by events on how to get Scholarships and prepare themselves for opportunities Reached 3000 beneficiaries during Six months. El-Gebaly got a Scholarship to Study Leadership at University Of Delaware and University of San Diego in Summer 2015 and he present his project on the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs’ Professional Development meeting in Istanbul, Turkey. Ahmed is Studying the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and he got a Scholarship for the Exam. Ahmed got many other Scholarships inside Egypt Funded by Ford Foundation, The Spanish aid, Shell, British Council, Amideast, The International Labor Organization (ILO). All these qualifications and experience enabled Ahmed to be Head of the Scholarships and Opportunities Department on Marj3 Abdullah Samy (Co-Founder): A civil Engineer (Construction Management) who has a long term experience in Volunteering service for more than 4 years and he was president of Enactus (formerly SIFE) at his college and after that he became a consultant with them. Abdullah got a scholarship to study Social Entrepreneurship at University of Connecticut in USA in Summer 2015 from the U.S Department of State. Also, He got a fund from his college to attend MUN conference in Tunisia. Abdullah is Co-Founder of Absthalk with Ahmed el gebaly and he is speaker in events about scholarships. Abdullah Prepared Project Management Diploma at American University in Cairo. He is CEO & Founder of Tech-Share NGO which working in Education for underprivileged students and technology and his NGO got fund from Ashoka Worldwide. Additionally, He got the best presenter prize from Conversation Cafe which working under the umbrella of American Corner, US Embassy. He is a professional photographer, videographer and video editor as he is working as a freelance photographer for 3 years. All these qualifications enabled him to be responsible about Operation and consultancy.
