Our customers are international students and global universities that accept international students.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

The traditional system of matching students and universities does not work in students' advantage. The placement agencies are incentivized on commissions to place students in their own network of universities. This results in poor matching and under-enrollment. With public universities stretched for cash and global competition increasing, there is need to access suitable international student pool using dependable online services.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Connexio is built around deeper learning of students and schools to provide better matches, saving students the need to depend on unverified sources and saving schools time, money and resources by providing access to more geographies and tools to engage, measure and improve engagement.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

We are focused on the second biggest international student market (India) and the biggest host university market (US) to test and make our model airtight. We are hosting sessions at Indian universities to register students through our mobile app and registering international department at US universities to connect them with potential students using our matching algorithms. We have first mover advantage with our proprietary algorithms to match students and schools and we are creating barriers to exit by providing students free guidance and matching services.
