Abstract

Codepanel is a platform as a service (PaaS) product that lets solo coders and software development teams to code and collaborate in cloud workspaces. Codepanel provides developer tools in the cloud like file manager, code editor, smart terminal, database manager, access & permission control, code revisions and restore logs, developer activity logs and more.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Codepanel will help web-based software/application development become faster, transparent and scalable. Localhost and Desktop Development Environments are killing software delivery. - Local workspaces are not shareable - Localhost configuration is manual and complex that leads to errors - Local workspaces are not programmable - Team onboarding and collaboration isn’t easy on local workspaces - Desktop Development Environments impede productivity Codepanel provides developer tools for coders to code and collaborate faster in cloud workspaces.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

- Developer Activity Logs and File Restore Logs - Access control and Permission management - Smart Terminal These are some features that will make our product standout in the market.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

We build it to make our own development workflow efficient and productive. We were tired of crappy development environments and wanted a way to work and manage multiple projects. Knowing the problems firsthand, we've conceptualized the product to address the efficiencies in the entire development workflow.
