What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Chaos, inexperience, and uncertainty overwhelm healthcare providers and lead to medical error, the 3rd leading cause of death in the US. The physician founders have lived these stories over the combined 65+ years while practicing. Our experience reflects an untold truth throughout healthcare that evidence-based medicine is only practiced 50% of the time. Passion for technology and change in healthcare drove 5 physicians to found Redivus. We have proven this problem is solvable in a scalable way by providing expert guidance in consumable, mobile experiences. Nationally recognized physicians in neurology and critical care are working with Redivus to refine the solution. In early tests and pilots, the decision support tool has shown improvements of 40% in Cardiac Arrest compliance and a 200% increase in Sepsis identification. Additionally, the solution brings a strong ROI by helping providers reduce costs associated with care and increase revenue/reimbursements. At our current pricing levels, we expect our customers to achieve a 200-500% ROI annually.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

The key to Redivus Health's product differentiation is simplicity and intuitive user experience. Travel navigation apps such as Google Maps and Waze have had a transformative effect on the conventional way of using a paper map to get from point A to point B. We intend to bring the same kind of step by step navigation to healthcare providers in time critical scenarios such as stroke, sepsis, and cardiac arrest. Trauma, respiratory failure, and heart attack round out the critical bundle and are in development. National clinical guidelines for treating a critical medical situation like cardiac arrest is a complex 30+ step algorithm or several pages of PDFs. In a medical crisis, there’s no time to waste. The Redivus solution is quickly accessible and launched on a mobile device with the goal of 100% provider compliance and accurate documentation of the event.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

Redivus has assembled a unique mix of doctors, nurses, and software veterans that are inspired to work together to bring about transformative change to the healthcare system. We are disruptors that are insatiably persistent for change. We have been patients, taken care of patients, and had family members in our healthcare system that have been harmed by medical error.
