MEGA (www.megageneration.com) is the social entrepreneurial venture focused on delivering services of gamification, gamified trainings and courses, and e-learning with environmental and social value.

The core product of MEGA is MEGA Game: The Game with Impact. It is a web platform with elements of gamification that connects Green Tech companies and environmental organizations with young environmentalists, while educating them on different aspects of nature conservation and sustainable development through practical real-world tasks and e-learning trainings connected to each task.

Who is your customer?

From one side these are Green Tech companies and environmental organizations running projects and initiatives related to environmental research, education, and eco-innovations. In MEGA Game they are called Mission Providers. From another side there are young environmentalists looking for practical career development opportunities and jobs in the domain of environmental research, education, and eco-innovations. In MEGA Game they become Green Agents.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

For Mission Providers we solve the problem of finding and connecting with talented young environmental specialists for potential collaboration and recruitment. For Green Agents we solve the "pain" of determining the most suitable career path and connecting them with opportunities-and-job providers for personal and career development.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

MEGA Game is a web platform that connects Green Agents and Mission Providers and offers possibilities for real-world collaboration between them while also nurturing environmentally friendly habits and socially valuable behavior in them. The platform does so by combining practices of psychology, technology, and ecology that are directed towards e-learning, collaboration, professional assessment, and real-world positive change. At the same time MEGA Game connects the on-line world with its accessibility and technological innovations to the real one with its challenges and opportunities for playing, learning, connecting, assessing, and at the same time creating meaningful environmental and social impact.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

MEGA and its product MEGA Game are being developed by a team that combines environmental researchers, gamification specialists, experienced designers, software developers, and professional communicators. We already have the Beta version of MEGA Game that was used in a number of environmental research and nature conservation projects and organizations. And we are now developing the smartphone app with augmented reality to be connected to the platform.
