Amputees from developing countries lack access to prosthetics because of the lack of experts and infrastructure. Also, many amputees from developed countries require a solution that supports their recovery in the first year after amputation.
What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?
We have a developed an off-the-shelf direct molded prosthetic socket, the Amparo Socket, which allows amputeees to walk in only two hours. The socket can be remolded as many times as necessary helping amputees with a fast refitting procedure. The product was developed during 2016 with the support of experts in the field and many product trilas. Although there are similar solutions in the market, none of the combines all the features and advantages of the Amparo Socket - direct molded, remoldable, cost-effective.
