Every woman if she lives long enough goes through peri-menopause and menopause. About 70% of them experience debilitating symptoms that can be alleviated with the correct diet, exercise, meditation and other methods to reduce stress. Each women reacts differently to various foods and supplements and each woman has varying degrees of effects of the symptoms.
Therefore I am proposing to make an app for women going through peri-menopause and menopause where they can record what eat, what supplements or medicines they take, what exercise and other methods of relieving stress they have done each day and compare it to the level of their symptoms each day.
Menopausal symptoms include hot flashes, night sweats where the woman wakes up to soaked sheets, covers and pillows, mood swings, irritability, memory loss, hair loss, weight gain, inability to focus (brain fog) and many more.
Sadly the outcome for some women is divorce, due to extreme mood swings, losing their jobs due to inability to focus or having to leave important meetings due to extreme hot flashes.
If men had to go through menopause there would be millions thrown at alleviating the symptoms but sadly not until the last couple of years when some famous woman have spoken out about menopause has it started to be an acceptable topic to discuss. Yet 50% of the worlds population will go through this sometimes difficult phaze of their lives and hundreds of millions of women are looking for relief and help to get through this stage of their lives.
With such an app, women will be able to keep track of what they consume or do and what effect it has on their symptoms therefore giving them an overview of how to behave in way that will reduce their symptoms.
