Valley Fever Solutions / Antifungal

Abstract

We are focused on and ready to save lives, and ease suffering for thousands, particularly in Arizona. NikZ will help and sometimes cures Valley Fever. We have a path to get NikZ approved in 2022, including a valuable priority review voucher. Building on $20M development to date, our experienced team can reach approval for <$20M, amazingly inexpensive for drugs.

Valley Fever is a terrible disease. 150 people die every year. Thousands suffer for life. Thousands of these have no therapeutic options.

We are now making Nikkomycin-Z in kilogram scale, ready for larger scale for trials, on the path to commercialization. "NikZ" has been recognized as a very promising therapy but no one before us has been motivated to take it the distance. This is a good fit to manufacture in Arizona, improving and saving lives for decades to come.

Additional Questions

Who is your customer?

Our near term customer is an investor who wants to help us save lives and alleviate suffering. Drug development is slow, but very satisfying when we see the happy child or grandparent who is now free of a debilitating disease. Our 4 year customer is that sick patient, and their care provider.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Valley Fever is a serious disease in too many people. Many people get better on their own, many can take drugs to help, but thousands of people do not respond to the drugs. We plan to test Nikkomycin Z in people to confirm the improvement we see in sick dogs.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Nikkomycin Z has been recognized for years as highly effective against Valley Fever in animals. Studies establish that it should be highly dangerous to the disease organism and almost invisible to humans and mammals. We are planning to test this therapy and anticipate that it should prove helpful to sick people with no current therapies.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

Drug development is well understood. We are building out our excellent team with experts with deep experience in successful drug development. Our drug has unique characteristics. Our team has already brought the drug far along the development path. We are close to the final demonstration, and look forward to helping very sick patients.
