S.U.D.S. Waterless


Venture Description

We provide on demand mobile sustainable car detailing services. Currently customers schedule appointments online on our website, then we show up at their preferred time and location. We use the waterless car washing method, which means there is no need for an extra rinse cycle We use biodegradable solutions that allow us to clean, polish, wax, protect, and shine any vehicle in three simple steps. The solution is EPA certified, and saves on average 45 gallons of water per vehicle. We want to develop a mobile application to make our services more convenient. Our target market includes companies with fleets of vehicles and the baby boomer age of business and service professionals. Their occupations tend to be very time consuming and they also have the necessary disposable income for luxury services such as our own. For them, we offer group services while they are at work. We focus on targeting area with large quantities of cars such as office parks, corporate campuses, apartment complexes, auto dealerships, country clubs, and etc. We envision growing this company nation wide having brick and mortar locations in high traffic areas, B2C and B2B mobile units, and selling our products online. All transactions and systems will be processed through web and mobile application with automated systems. Suds will be powered by students across the United States, providing part time income, hands on experience in their given field, and training them to become entrepreneurs of their own.

Who is your customer?

Our target customers are automobile owners, specifically business and other professionals who may not have a lot of time due to their demanding work schedules. We service companies and their employees while they're at work. We serve commercial property owners and managers, auto dealerships, individuals, residential complexes, and shopping centers.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

The need to have a clean car without having the time to get in done professionally. Also we eliminate the damage to our environment that is caused be the traditional wasteful method of detailing cars.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Ultimately the convenience is the major attribute of our service. There are water scarce regions of the country that our waterless method will be more valuable in. Water will become scare in the future, so our method is one preventative measure. Also, utilizing students as the work force will give this company the youth and drive that it needs to become successful.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

As a double major in entrepreneurship and finance, Larry Long is the founder of Suds Waterless. He will also be the CEO of the organization. Larry will go through the process of growth and make sure that Suds will grow and blossom into a successful business. He will be able to bring all the people, and resources that are need to see to the success of Suds. With that being said, after being the founder he will continue with total ownership and managing Suds full time. Later, He may hire a management student here at UNCG to continue operating Suds once it is established. Depending on others contributions and investments, Larry will mainly remain in total ownership over the company. Larry will continue to read, research, study under others gaining the skills and abilities to make sure that Suds will strive and survive. He will continue each and every day working with the day to day operations making sure that every customer is satisfied with Suds service. According to , entrepreneur should have the following characteristics (Allis,R. ,n.d.): Larry will recruit a great team to build, manage, maintain and recreate Suds as the company grow. From there, Larry and the team will Perform business, receive data from customers and improve operations to make the business as efficient as possible while keeping cost low as possible. Previously, he has owned and operated a small pressure washing and mobile car washing business back home in Durham, NC called Optimum Power Washing.
