Who is your customer?
Medium to large enterprises that hire IT Contractors to work on their IT projects/systems.
What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?
Several IT contract-staffing opportunities go unfilled or takes a long time to fill by several large enterprises. This does impact the customer’s bottom line since some or several of the projects do not start as planned or the implementations get delayed.
There are a lot of people including recent graduates and American Veterans that are looking for jobs and or to get retrained in a job that is career oriented. Most of the IT Staffing companies are only interested in hiring seasoned recruiters and not willing to spend their time in training these people.
What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?
In order to implement a program such as this, I need support and partnership from large enterprises that hire hundreds of Contract IT professionals every year for their projects. All they have to do is, enroll/enlist my company as one of there preferred vendor or supplier for IT Staffing. This program and the model is scalable both with the number of recruits and clients not only here in Michigan but at a national level based on and meeting the set targets and goals. Initially during the training period the trainees would be offered a stipend followed by salary plus incentives with a potential of making 25 to 50k per annum under the assumption several clients would sign up and send their job orders/requisitions.
Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?
Setup a recruiting factory here in the United States in Detroit or Lansing. Hire Americans and our veterans who are either unemployed or looking to change their career, provide them the needed training including on the job training to make them a successful IT Recruiter. Ideal candidates would be individuals who have the willingness to learn along with positive attitude, good communication skills and has experience using MS Office/Computers.
There are several contract IT openings that don’t get filled in a timely manner because there are only so many recruiters working for the IT staffing companies and they can only work on so many work orders (capacity issue).
Plus majority of these IT staffing companies do not want to work on a job order if the margins are low which translates to the position not getting filled.
