Abstract

Finnegan Security Solutions is a small disabled veteran owned business committed to enhancing the safety, security and preparedness of individuals, families, businesses, and communities throughout Southern California. This is completed through realist self-defense training, residential hardening security packages, active shooter training and specialized business security training and emergency action planning.

Who is your customer?

The market is twofold: individuals and businesses. The prime market for self-defense classes are women, although it is designed for anyone 16 years and older. We also teach a Teen Preparedness course that is open to all teens 10-18. Finnegan Security Solutions also provides a variety of tailored security training, as well as cyber security training, active shooter/mass violence training, and emergency action planning to the business sector. These potential clients include, but not limited to, realtors, lawyers, mid-large companies, Fortune 500 and 1000 companies, schools, colleges, hospitals, military installations, county, city and state offices.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

There are four main problems that Finnegan Security Solutions is directly addressing: 1.) the passing of three laws which as weaken the criminal justice system and put more criminals back on the street 2,) the close proximity of the San Andreas fault line that is expected to cause an earthquake resulting potential catastrophic damage and high casualties 3.) residential security companies that leave clients vulnerable to forced entry 4) businesses not possessing effective Emergency Action Plans, Cyber Security training and procedures, and basic security plans and training that protect sensitive business information, assets, and employees.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Finnegan Security Solutions doesn't believe that each client is the same; therefore, we provide custom and tailored training and solutions to fit the customers needs. Possessing a large background in protecting people, assets and information will greatly enhance the customer experience. Furthermore, FSS has a cadre of experienced and highly proven professionals that will join the team in 2018, further enhancing the safety and security of the communities we touch.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

The X factor in our success is the owner and future staff's pure desire and natural calling to protect and defend others. It is the foundation of our company and we will not hire anyone who doesn't have a fire within them to enhance the lives of those they teach, or talk to. Finnegan Security Solutions is not a fly-by-night, build the next greatest invention company; ultimately, we are a company that saves lives, assets, and information.
