iParked Here (IPH)

To help people find where they parked their cars at locations that have huge number of parking lots i.e. malls, casinos, clubs, conference venues, etc.

How it works:

Taking the similar design to a parking meter this system will be placed at every parking space. It will be a small pole with a ticket dispenser.

The ticket will come out with a QR code printed on them. When the person finishes with their duties and they need to go back to find their cars they can either scan the code and it will show then a mini map from the nearest entrance/exit of the mall to the parking lot number in which they have parked on their phones.

Each ticket dispensed by IPH will come with a programed QR code that gives directions from the nearest exit to the space where they parked.

Parking Revenue Systems and Drivers

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

This idea helps people who have forgotten where they have parked their cars. Melrose Arch for example is modern trendy place and so is its confusing underground parking lot which can be access from many different entrances to accommodate the design of the parking lot. Stadiums parking lots are humongous people are more likely to spend more time looking for their cars than standing on exit queues.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

The simplicity in helping our drivers find their cars. Unlike the main competition which requires a driver to buy a gadget then install in their cars followed by downloading an app which will requires heaps of data because it has to go online, search for current location of the driver then scan the location of the car then lead the driver step by step instead of directly showing them the way in one go meaning more time online. But iParked Here works in two simple ways 1- When they scan with their phone it automatically charges them from their airtime rather than complicated bank registrations and pins. 2- A noticeable sign on the automated pay stations will show them that when they want to find their car they should firstly insert their parking ticket followed by the iParked Here ticket in order to get overall combined amount that needs to be paid then a miniature map will be dispensed with written directions leading to the parking lot number where their car is parked.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

The use of already existing products such as working with established Parking revenue System Companies to utilize their pay stations thus cutting the cost for the implementation of the system, the key missing factors that are needed at the moment is a programmer, ticket dispensers, system upgrades for the already existing pay stations so that they are able to read QR coded tickets.
