Neighborhealth

Abstract

Most of the dental treatments in US and Canada are not covered by health care insurances which makes dental treatments prices unaffordable for most citizens. In response to this problem we created NeighborHealth, a medical tourism platform that offers dental treatments and amenities in Mexico to US and Canadian citizens. NeighborHealth is intuitive and easy to use: patients access to the web/mobile platform, chose the dentist and treatment to be done and book the hotel and hospital where he/she wants to be treated. NeighborHealth arranges the whole package and sends the schedule and indications to the patient.

NeighborHealth provides high health care quality at affordable prices, hospital and clinical facilities and gives the patient the option to add premium services such as translator, and transportation into the city, so he does not have to worry about any other issue such as language. Nowadays, many people try to look for solutions on website, unfortunately there are just informative sites, unlike these websites NeighborHealth is a platform that offers the best link between patient-treatment-stay.

Who is your customer?

Our customer is 45 to 65 years old, US or Canadian citizen, looking for solutions for a dental problem, stable job and desire to travel and know Mexico.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Nowadays, US and Canadian citizens prefer leave their cavities untreated due to high costs in dental treatments. In neighborHealth we believe that every person deserves good health quality services at affordable prices and we provide this by offering a dental tourism experience in Mexico. The patient will benefit from getting his treatment done and visit the city all at affordable prices and the same quality as it would have been in their hometown.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

The customers are looking for a personalized support; and this is a great reason to emphasize the importance of simplicity: an easy navigation of the platform, the highest quality service and the availability of a network of integrated rapid response communication. If the client perceives a follow up in all the services and personalized support during the travel paperwork we will gain his/her trust and eventually will encourage himself to take the chance and travel to Mexico.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

Despite we all graduated from the same career, each of us took a different path. We are a multidisciplinary team, business leader, technician leader, sales and executive leaders. We will make this idea successful because we have what it takes, is a huge market that is being unattended and we know the country and city which we are bringing the people, we have the contacts, the motivation and the guidance from important business leaders. The location of the team gives us a advantage, Jacob lives in Canada, which connect us with our desired market. Giovanna lives in Mexico city, she gets all the contacts from important dentists and exclusive prices, Daniel lives in a border city, where he can compare prices, actual procedures that foreign people realizes and he can see the problems they faced too, so we can focus on those and Lucia, she lives in Monterrey, she is in charge to gather te team, lead and supervises that the patient is being treated they way we want it.
