What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?
Origin Forensics is a consulting firm that specializes in automotive accident reconstruction, biomechanical injury analysis, and rapid-response forensic data preservation. Our team provides clients with data and analysis that they can understand and put their faith in.
What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?
While the majority of Origin's clients requires us to operate on a national level, we began to see a particular need in our own community. We had a vision for a mobile rapid-response Forensic Data Preservation Unit, and we made that vision into a reality. We invested in top of the line and one of a kind equipment not previously combined for mobile rapid response activities. We are proud to have a cutting edge first of its kind Forensic Data Preservation Unit that we can deploy to preserve perishable evidence at crash and crime scenes with the goal of assisting our community in finding and preserving the truth.
Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?
We always have our ear to the ground regarding new technologies. There is hardly a change in technology regarding data collection that we are not aware of. Since we don't ourselves develop new products, we are constantly evolving our toolbox to make our services the best they can be. We have recently incorporated a drone into our services, which can provide survey-grade aerial imagery. Our clients have a level of expectation from businesses in our industry, and we strive to go above and beyond and deliver a product they didn't know they needed.
