OrthoPod is a mobile orthopedic service for athletic events and in-home inquiries to help save patients time and money from going to the hospital and being then sent to an orthopedist.

Additional Questions

Who is your customer?

People of all races, ages, and genders are our target customers.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

The problem OrthoPod solves is that people waste their time and money going straight to emergency rooms for what may be minor injuries to then be sent to an orthopedist to just be splinted and sent home, but with OrthoPod we can x-ray the injury on the spot and ask for the patient to follow up at one of our orthopedist's offices.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

The mobility of OrthoPod will make it successful because an ambulance is so expensive and their only job is to keep patients stable until they reach the hospital. On the other hand, OrthoPod gets patients, x-rays them, and then either gives them a brace and asks for a follow up visit with the orthopedist on duty, or casts the patient, depending on how major the injury is and asks for a follow up visit at their office.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

OrthoPod's strategy for marketing will be by using email to talk to potential sponsors and clients, as well as brick and mortar, such as banners at sporting events or stadiums and talking to orthopedic surgeons in person. The OrthoPod team has advantage over others in the market because we personally know many orthopedists that are willing to work with us and grow with our business.
