Saralsewa Service Consultants

Abstract

We provide the mandatory (Government, Banking and allied) services to a diverse range of consumers covering from creamy layer to the Bottom of the Pyramid by using ITES on both online (in form of app and website) as well as offline (in form of the vast network of established SSKs) platforms. Having SSKs established in all Panchayats and by working with Government authorities, district administrations and other local bodies, we are making our effort on eradicating poverty. And also rendering the services to the needy people who have a very busy life in cities and metros.

Let's suppose a four years kid has to travel on foot with his mother to withdraw cash from the bank which is situated 10 kms away from their village. And his father has to stand in a queue for several hours, to get benefited from the government schemes (like Ration Card or MGNREGS), because of the malpractices and corruption prevailing within the system. Through our vast network SSKs established in Panchayat level, we have facilitated hassle free service delivery to everyone.

The same thing goes the other way for Business class, working officials or Bureaucrats who do not have enough time to spare on getting the services. So, we have a model to render the services to them on a Direct to Home basis with a very nominal visiting charge.

These are just one of the many instances through with we are making a positive impact on the lives of everyone.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Today, through E-commerce, people can get anything delivered to their home Food, Furniture, Electronics, Vegetables, Medicines, Clothing, Footwear etc. So, through our ITES based venture, we render all G2B, G2C and B2C services on the doorstep. The customers can order the services on our user-friendly online platform or by calling on the helpline number. A nominal visiting charge of Rs. 50 is taken for rendering services at home, but no visiting charges are applied on senior citizens and divyangs. Alternatively, people can also visit our vast network of SSKs situated in both rural as well as urban areas. This makes us a unique organisation that caters the requirement of all segments of the society.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

The services are infinite and every person requires some mandatory Government and banking services on a regular basis. As of now, we are currently operational in the state of Jharkhand, so below are our targeted market and projections: Here, the overall urban population is 11 million and in rural areas is 25 million. We target the market @ 2%. So, altogether we always have 2 lacs and 5 lacs active customers in urban and rural areas respectively. By F.Y. 2018-19, we will expand to Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Chattisgarh with a target of 1.5 million active urban customers. And by 2019-20, we have plans to go for a National Launch with a presence in Metros and non-metros across India. As far as our advantage over other existing competitors is concerned, the online self-use service portals can only be used by 20 – 30% knowledgeable customers who reside in urban areas. There is negligible usage in rural areas. The Authorized outlets / CSCs / CSPs / Cyber cafes are having poor monitoring mechanisms with common issues of exploitation and overcharging. The problems of travelling, queuing and service quality still remains at these outlets. The local unorganized personnel deliver single service to local customers. So, they can’t cater all needs of the customers. Therefore, we don't have any actual existing competitions.
