The Tracking Monster

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

My idea addresses the global issue of climate change. It also addresses the issue of ignorance to climate change. Focusing on sustainability is something that we all need to be doing in order to make a difference. I became aware of the issue through school, and through word of mouth. I've continued learning about climate change through my own research, and by earning a Business Environmental Index Badge by participating in the Innovate Your Story program offered through the Phi Eta Sigma Chapter of the National Honor Society. Also, I am taking a class on climate change offered at BSU. I am interested in sustainability because making sure that we can sustain life on earth is one of the most important things we could be doing.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

I will be providing assistance in marketing and selling, and perhaps financing businesses who have a role to play in sustainability. My first client will be The Tracking Monster. The Tracking Monster's services can tell the pressure of the package, if the package has been opened, dropped, tilted, has gotten too hot or too cold, or if it's gotten wet. I am interested in The Tracking Monster because when you fix problems in a supply chain, it creates a more sustainable business with less waste. With all of the customers The Tracking Monster will have, that's a significantly lower amount of waste. Everyone involved can do their part in saving the world, while making more money!

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

I will be selling my own services to new businesses looking for a marketing, sales, and sustainability expertise. I will be selling The Tracking Monster's service to their customers. The Tracking Monster will sponsor museum and fine art specific conferences, focusing on exhibitions and logistics. l will be present at any conferences necessary. We will market the product and company through direct sales and marketing channels with a targeted focus on our prospective customers and where they gather. We will focus the branding based on different cultural challenges faced by each region of the United States.
