Abstract

Youth business incubator for starting and developing the projects in the field of social entrepreneurship with getting profit to invest it in the future projects or social initiatives.

Commercial projects will be given the possibility to start own business projects, test different type of business models, find new team players, attract investors for share in your business (mostly a part of net profit).

Social projects system will be given opportunity to get profit from ideas to scale it in social direction. I fully convinced that this business-model of double destination, which combining profit with social activities (hybrid organization) is more competitive in our globalization era. Scheme is really simple. Support particular group of people or satisfy their desires, get the profit (if applicable), start another social initiative or scale direct project to expand the reach of the target audience.

Who is your customer?

1) Students or young professionals with desire of starting business. 2) Anyone with social initiatives (mostly founders of NGO) 3) People in the age of 23-35 who has enough working experience in particular field to start own project.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

I am sure, there is the most important issue. Every great idea must be priceless and valuable for others. That is why business incubator propose opportunities for everyone: 1) Youth – start own commercial or social business with challenges and accomplishments. The life becomes much more meaningful, people get chance to increase in the field of their aspirations and interests, inspired by their ideas. 2) Professionals and specialists – lead chosen direction in the project. Great opportunity to practice new skills, improve your abilities and earn more money on your lovely job. 3) Society – new working places and social-orientated projects directly related to improve the life of particular social group. 4) Government – economy development. 5) Investors – great opportunity to invest capital in high-yield projects.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

1) There are no analogues in the Ukrainian market; 2) Great opportunity to start with government support; 3) The real need in the market of creating something profitable with payment on the results. 4) Huge quantity of potencial customers; 5) Great lifetime value of the projects (fix profit rate from every business on the regular basis for incubator and for investors)

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

To tell the truth, I do not know how to build such working and successful ecosystem. But I fully convinced, that if we want to launch anything in our world we should make decomposition, create step by step guideline and get feedback from competent and qualified people who have enough expert level. Guideline for typical business project in the incubator: 1) Preparation and testing. a) Find supporters (building a team) - Announcements in thematic issues; - References; - Active participation in different social events. b) Get the idea or initiative; - Social advertisement on the TV; - Announcements in target groups in social networks; - Publication news in magazines or public websites; - Affiliate marketing; с) Testing needs of community in current direction; - Conduct polls on the streets; - Make a voting in social networks; - Give the people questionnaires during the meetings or events; d) Make a plan; 2) Launch the project. a) Search the financing; - Personal savings; - Fundraising; - Grants from different institutions; - Social platforms; - Crowdfunding; b) Exploration and producing new type of products or services - Evaluation of similar products on the market; - Find the target audience; - Creating unique trade proposition; - Testing the finished model; c) Find the channels of promotion; - Landing page (Contextual advertisement + SMM); - Corporate website (SEO + SMM); - Banner advertising on target resources; - Supporting from different partners (news portals, newspapers, magazines, TV, radio); - Cold calls to the target audiences; - Ensure events and presentations for your idea; - E-mail marketing; 3) Analyze the results. a) Monitor the effectiveness of the project in the community; b) Determine positive changes in the society; с) Control your charges and revenues. 4) Try to scale your idea. a) Improvement or modification; b) New target audiences; c) Diversification and personalization of your solution; d) Spread your idea at a global level. And the most important issue about envision and results in the future. My idea is create the best platform in Ukraine to start different types of business that is why I reckon that after 10 years we will realize it. Actually, it helps us to solve the problem of marginalized and unemployed youth. Such system can also develop in the direction of social or venture business projects to attract investors and create opportunity for social initiatives all over the world.
