One Community Auto, LLC


Create new division to help low-income veterans, students and families with auto repairs. We believe that reliable transportation is critical to the overall well-being of our community. We will staff and train transitioning veterans and other auto repair students.

Who is your customer?

Low-income veterans and families. We have 100,000+ families living at our below 150% of the federal poverty level in the Albuquerque Metro area.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Our clients do not have a low-cost alternative for auto repair. They need to maintain a reliable vehicle to get to work, school, medical, daily living and to take care of their families. This will improve their economic and health well-being.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Community support will be critical. We have a robust network of non-profits that are supporting our community, but they are unable to handle auto repairs. Our organization will fill this gap. We will partner with them to support their clients.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

There isn't a low-cost repair option in the area. We're the first to couple a for-profit business with non-profits to serve in this area. We have a shop and several vehicle techs, but we will need to bring on other veterans and auto repair techs in order to accomplish this task. We have in-house 40+ years of auto repair experience and fleet management.
