Recycl'Art is social entrepreneurship project. There are 3 dimensions on this project : economical, environmental and social.

Our purpose is to recyclate pallets and other materials in order to craft furniture, such as sofas, chairs, tables...

This project is a part of ImpAct (an association of Grenoble Ecole de Management) and its principal consumers are students.

Within 3 years we wish this project to become become a company, with employees that are currently in outplacement.

Who is your customer?

Currently our customers are students from GEM. By the end the year we will be opening our offer to other students and companies. After that we will certainly open to people that dont have a lot of money to buy furnitures.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

This project allows people with low incomes to get furniture at a low cost but also to reduce waste by recycling material, such as pallets.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

This project is already one year old and has always created benefits. Plus students who tried it strongly recommand it to other students. We also offer 14+ different kind of furnitures with attractive prices.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

As said before, the project is now one year old and already a success. We organised one workshop a month and we're planning to increase the frequence. We have a granted suplying of raw material. In the future we will open our offer to people outside our school and we will diversify our offer. Our experience give us an advantage over others as well as the network of our school which represent over 8000 students and over 35000 alumnis.
