TFI (technology flight innovations)

Abstract

Imagine securing a sleek carbon fiber wing to your back. You throttle up, you run and leap into the air. You are flying. Now that you are in the air you can do what you want and the options are limitless. You can race above the fields, enjoy a beautiful sunset from 5000 feet high, or dive down a mountain.

Not only is this wing able to truly let man soar with the eagles but it is also compact, safe, and environmentally friendly. In the final production model it will be foldable fitting in a 7'x5'x3' or smaller space. The wing is powered by two 15KW electric ducted fans making it quieter then almost all other ultralights and that makes it environmentally friendly. For extra safety all wings will have a parachute preinstalled for if an emergency ever occurred. Thank you.

Who is your customer?

The target costumer will be healthy people with their age ranging from about 18-50 years old. The product will require you to run and weight under about 225 lb.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

This product will turn you into an airplane. And this is were most other products fall short. The other products on the market make you just the controller and the aircraft transports you. But with this wing it fulfills everyone's childhood dream of becoming an airplane instead of just sitting in one.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

The things that will make this product successful is that it is unique. It is unique in how it is flown, it is distinct in how easily and quickly it can be set up and flown. It is also rare that the only maintenance it requires is the battery changed every 2 years. It is unique that it is an ultralight and has a completely solid wing that can't collapse in flight. It also will be made with high quality materials that will last for years. Finally it is distinct because it is electric and using the latest cylindrical li-ion batteries it boasts a flight of up to one hour which will compete with the best ultralights on the market.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

The advantage I have is I would be the first one in the market and I would have little competition and if others come along I would have developed mine to the point were it would be hard to compete with me in cost and performance.
