MounTins mission is to provide an incentive for locals and tourists in the Park City area that encourages the support of locally-owned and operated restaurants. These businesses contribute to the small town ski vibe that makes Park City unique. We have selected a group of iconic restaurants that will give you the best taste of the town. Each restaurant is featured on their own uniquely designed drink coaster. This coaster is worth $10 off your tab of $30 or more (pre-tax/gratuity) when redeemed at the establishment.

Who is your customer?

Anyone in Park City or the surrounding area that goes out to eat (Broad). Husband or wife, 30-40 years of age, that has money to go out to eat frequently at higher-end restaurants in Park City (More specific). Brandy the 32-year-old, wine and book club enthusiast from Park City that likes to go out with her girls at a classier restaurant while still snagging a deal. Looking for an excuse to go out on main street (Very Specific).

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

MounTins provides a service to both the customer and restaurants in Park City. We offer incentives for the customer to go out and either eat more frequently at a particular restaurant, or try a new restaurant that is featured in MounTins that they might not normally go to. This intern helps local restaurants by providing direct advertising to the customer and driving more business.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

There is nothing like this in Park City, we are providing a unique product and service to the area. Our team is very talented and capable of fulfilling most of the upfront design work, market research, and business connections to get the company started.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

Our team has developed strategic timelines to ensure our product launch date is on-time for 2019. We already have well-established connections with multiple restaurants and shops in Park City. These connections allow for an easier market entrance along with local support and backing.
