Shop Link

An online hub of all boutiques & specialty stores in Los Angeles. We provide a platform for them to sell their clothes online, while providing the marketing expertise to drive traffic to our website so that these stores can be discovered. Consumers can now shop at these small businesses from home, and discover new stores. They will be able to order items to be shipped to them, or place items on hold to then try-on in store. Stores will be able to provide their inventory on our site in real-time due to our inventory system supported by our iPad Point-Of-Sale App. We will begin in LA, then expand to all major US cities and then nationwide. This idea originated from helping small businesses compete in the online market successfully, and helping them to also be discovered by all being found in one place.

Additional Questions

Who is your customer?

2 - 1) Small businesses looking to compete online successfully. 2) People who shop for clothing.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

It solves the issue of small businesses not getting enough exposure or being able to be discovered, setting up an online website being too costly or time-consuming, and not being able to fulfill shipments because the online store's inventory is not updated in real-time.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

The POS system, and the popularity of the website. This inventory technology and research data has not been used to link to an online store, that can then be marketed to help small businesses get more reach. This needs to be done, because people like to shop local more and more, and small businesses are where the trends start. Someone needs to help them to compete online in a logical sense, and if I don't do it, someone else will.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

I am a great listener, and proactive thinker. I have experience in small-business consulting and marketing, and I am always willing to learn. Instead of complaining or making excuses, I develop the skills I need to solve my problems. I enjoy working with others, and my entrepreneurial passion comes from providing a service to help others.
