The social networking space has grown exponentially in the past few years. We have seen the rise of several location based social networking application that could either aggregate information from various social platforms or find friends nearby. What's required is something that has real people and provide open real time applications. Something that could give a bulletin board based on location.

Our endeavor is to implement an innovative and fully-functioning mobile application, connecting users and businesses on an exceedingly inter-personal scale. The fundamental concept underlying "fuse" is that it further attempts to personalize users' news-feeds by populating it with alerts tailored to the users' actual physical locations, the places they have visited previously, and data gathered from other users who have traveled to similar locations.

The application contains demarcated boundaries on a world map using clusters, with each cluster corresponding to prominent physical locations or neighborhoods, and each cluster possibly containing smaller clusters as well. As users enter each cluster, their news-feeds are automatically updated to reflect the alerts, opinions and recommendations of other similar users posted within the 'cluster', and offers from shops and businesses in the area pertaining to the users' interests, all dynamically changing as users switch from cluster to cluster. It will also allow users to directly connect and interact with other like-minded individuals in the area.
