PetStat is a tool to connect pet service providers with pet parents to work together for the health of their pets. Client engagement is the key to driving business and more importantly leads to better healthcare for pets.

Who is your customer?

We will first target on private, small and mixed animal, general practice veterinary clinics and their clients. There are over 22,000 of these clinics in the United States.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Pain points: -Veterinary practice owners=need to drive up business/increase revenue -Veterinarian=need to increase client compliance (and to pay off student loans) -Veterinary technician=need to manage flow in the clinic more efficiently -Veterinary field=need to stop the dramatic increase in preventable disease -Pet parents=need to keep track of all of my pet's needs in an easy and convenient way

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

#1 We are first to market with the unique concept of tracking hospital flow and engaging clients in that process. We have also conducted market research to back up our theories about our problems and solutions. #2 Our team (see answer to next question) #3 We have lined up 7 pilot clinics and are almost finished with an MVP. We will be conducting beta testing over the summer and plan to launch by the end of summer.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

Our co-founders are both excited, knowledgeable, dedicated and hard-working. Our CEO and co-founder has worked in the veterinary space for 5 years and is currently a veterinary student. Our CTO and co-founder has worked for a successful startup for the last 3 years as their lead web developer. We have a valid idea, a team, and are willing to put in the work to make our dreams a reality. We are familiar with the pet service industry and as a veterinary student, our CEO has access to a large network of current and future leaders in the veterinary field.
