UBNB is an interactive, online website that connects graduating high school students, current college or university students, individuals with a GED looking to begin their education, and graduate students looking to further their education who wish to travel to colleges and universities to meet with students at the chosen college or university that are willing to host them. This service will give high school graduating students a chance to personally experience what the desired college or university is all about, while also giving current college students a simple way to experience a new college or university before transferring. This service will also allow students with a GED who did not attend college right out of high school the opportunity to sit in on classes, tour the campus, and experience a possible new living condition all through UBNB. Graduate students can also take advantage of UBNB to understand graduate programs at big and small colleges or universities. Hosts are students who have applied through the UBNB website and have been "hired" or approved by the management team through an online interview process. Hosts will provide a profile including photos of the apartment/house the visitor will be staying in to ensure it is a clean and safe environment and meet the visitor’s expectations. Hosts will also provide a short bio of their major, year, and interests (example: football games, night life, etc.). Visitors are any graduating senior, current college student, individuals with a GED, or graduate students wishing to travel to visit a chosen college or university and has made an account, filled out a waiver, provided a student ID or GED, and made full payment to the host and the site. Each student that plans to utilize UBNB will be charged a flat fee of $70; $50 of which will profit the host and $20 will profit the website. Visitors can also plan to travel in a group of two to three friends which is very beneficial to the host due to the fact that it is a standard $70 per individual thus resulting in well over $100 per night. This will also lead too requiring less work when traveling in groups because they will stay together and entertain themselves. UBNB will make it simple to browse by “school name” or “event” to find a host that has similar interests or plans to attend the given event.
