Several states are mandating eFiling for courts. APIs are exposed by these states and company can choose to be an EFSP (Electronic Filing Service Provider) by certifying their web-application. US Legal PRO is an EFSP for TX, IN, CA, IL (MD Soon). EFiling for courts is a relatively new concept and will eventually revolutionize the legal industry.

Package Legal Services backed by e-Filing

Provide Packaged Legal Services backed by e-Filing thereby saving customers time/money and trips to courts.

Expand US Legal PRO’s current offering, TX Online Divorce backed by e-Filing, to other states and create packages backed by e-Filing for other Legal services such as Name Change, Probate, Eviction, Small Claims, 1000s of motions and notices and many more.

Normalized APIs

e-Filing APIs are Fragmented between states. Come up with normalized APIs so that third-party software companies can use it without having to maintain and understand underlying details of e-Filing. Many large businesses like ADP, Paychex, Banks, Hospitals, and organizations need to file thousands of documents to court each month and we could be a goto company for APIs.

Additional Questions

Who is your customer?

People who need legal help and want to go through the legal process by themselves.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Legal processes are intimidating, time-consuming and hard to understand. With the power of eFiling, we can automate thousands of legal processes 100% in many cases or to a certain degree like we have done with Texas Divorce.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

People need legal help and the legal system is expensive. We talk about "Equal access to Justice" but for many who are having a hard time making ends meet and/or having a hard time taking few hours from work, access to Justice is hard to come by. By automating legal services, we are making peoples lives easier. We get countless thank yous and it is a feel-good business but with high margin. This idea will be a success as there are no clear alternatives as of yet and we know how to execute and we have done it.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

We already have proven MVP that is generating revenue. We know how to create process-centric technological solutions like we have done with TX divorce. We have a first mover advantage at this time and we already have a technological framework to rapidly deploy new packaged legal process in a matter of hours.
