Abstract

We are the Uber for online courses at elite private high school schools. We connect remote students eager for diverse course offerings to empty seats in prestigious institutions.

Who is your customer?

We have three distinct customer markets: 1. Non-elite private schools 2. Public School Districts 3. Global education in developing countries.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

This idea solves two problems: For elite private schools, it turns an administrative liability into a profit-generating opportunity. For students across the globe without access to a diverse offering high quality courses, it provides an opportunity to receive instruction by some of the best institutions in the country.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

This idea will be successful on for two reasons. The first is that the dilemma faced by elite schools in offering robust elective options is universal and no institution has yet generated an effective solution. The second is that the multiple consumer markets indicated above are all in search of high quality online instruction in a market flooded with mediocre alternatives whereas this idea provides proven, quality instruction.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

Our team is composed of members who are intimately familiar with the administrative challenges faced by both elite and non-elite independent schools. We also have experience in designing online, video-based curricula, web design, sales & marketing, global education initiatives, building social change organizations, and startup experience in other sectors.
