Sexy Life


Sexy Life is a subscription service that brings date night home to busy couples. Many couples, especially those with small children, have a difficult time finding the time to go out for a true "date night out" or lack the energy to plan or execute a date night. We take the planning out of date, and create activities and experiences that couples can do in the limited spare time available.

Who is your customer?

Our target customer is busy couples, aged 25 to 35, with one or more children. Specifically, we are targeting "Millennial Moms," a group of women 16 million strong who already are looking for ways to simplify their lives through online subscription services.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Busy couples with children lack the time and energy to plan out or execute on date-night-out ideas. Our product brings the date night to the couple, so they do not have to find a babysitter or plan a special night out. Our activities can be completed in 30 to 45 minutes, the length of an average television drama on Netflix.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Our team has partnered with a relationship counselor to learn about the behaviors of couples, and we found that couples tend to engage in playful, emotional, and sexual activities. Our product will be successful because it involves activities in all three areas, while our competition only focuses on one or two of those areas. In addition, we have tried some of our competition, and the products they send are either overpriced, confusing, or not fun.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

As a whole, our team has four children under the age of six. We know what busy parents are going through and what we can do to make things easier while helping busy couples with children communicate and reconnect. In addition, as we move forward, we intend to bring on a Customer Relationship Specialist who will work with our couples to continuously improve the Sexy Life experience. None of our competitors have a Customer Relationship team working with their clients.
