Halt Poverty was launched as a project in response to the needs to empower human capital in tourism-based activities towards the clearing of local forests and unemployment.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Madagascar has a long history of weak economic growth amid recurrent political instability. Madagascar has become one of the poorest countries in the world, with over 80 percent of the population living on less than $1.90 a day . For example, of 138 countries surveyed for the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Index in 2016, Madagascar was ranked 138th on road quality, 135th on mobile phone penetration, and 130th on quality of electricity supply.
