Physically disabled people in Turkey don't have access to affordable, nice and easy to wear clothing. Our aim is to help physically disabled people in Turkey to gain independence and self confidence by manufacturing comfortable clothes and making fashion more accessible and more affordable. As a result a primary need will no longer be a luxury for physically disabled people.

Who is your customer?

Our key stakeholders are physically disabled people, disabled people’s associations, foundations, rehabilitation centers and socially-conscious corporations. Our stakeholders are important to understand the needs and desires of disabled people.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

We offer a line of clothing specialized for people on wheelchairs. Our aim is to create designs suitable for independent wear; however assisted clothing options with adaptive features can also be considered.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

For the disabled, first off, our venture aims to improve self-perception and confidence among the disabled. Affordable adaptive clothing will decrease the time and effort spent on dressing. Further, especially with our adaptive business clothing line, we aim to raise awareness about employment prospects for the disabled and encourage their participation in the workforce. For their immediate care-takers, there will be lesser responsibility on their part in terms of dressing/changing/toilet assistance. For the community as a whole, there will be less need for disabled pensions and more income tax can be generated.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

In the Turkish market, we have close to no competitors. Globally, most of our competitors produce clothing that is designed for elderly. Others produce adaptive clothing with little variety in design (not too many designs or color options). Most of their designs are not sufficiently adaptive to justify their high price tag. Therefore there won’t be much entrance barrier for our business in terms of price competitiveness and differentiation.
